About
For more than 20 years, Town and Country has been a cherished part of our family heritage and the communities we serve. What began with two locations in Columbia and Laurel, Mississippi, has continued to grow under the leadership of Dennis and Julie, who have proudly owned and operated the business since August 2006.
Early on, Dennis and Julie laid the groundwork for long-term growth by transitioning from manual processes to an electronic point-of-sale system in January 2007. This forward-thinking mindset has guided the business through years of adaptation and expansion in an ever-evolving industry.
Our dedication to progress led to the construction of a state-of-the-art back warehouse complete with a loading dock to improve logistics, along with the purchase of adjacent land for future retail opportunities. By 2010, customer demand and our commitment to service excellence drove an expansion into a 5,000-square-foot retail facility, allowing us to broaden our product offerings.
In 2011, Town and Country further diversified by introducing liquid feed solutions, providing added convenience to our cattle-producing customers. We continued to evolve with the times, embracing the digital shift during the 2020 pandemic by upgrading to a more advanced computer system that strengthened operations and our online presence.
In 2024, we proudly expanded once again with the addition of our third location in Collins, Mississippi. This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting customers where they are. We are currently working to refresh and update this location with a new look, ensuring it reflects the same quality, professionalism, and customer-first experience that defines all Town and Country stores.
Family remains at the heart of our business. Dennis and Julie’s daughters, Tarah and Chelsea, have played an important role in our growth. Both were active in 4‑H and continue to contribute to Adamdale Farms, our family-run operation specializing in high-quality Simmental and Simangus cattle.
Chelsea is actively involved in daily operations and serves as a Master Merchandiser with Purina, bringing valuable insight to customer relations and strategic planning. Tarah contributes her extensive background in biological sciences and agriculture, offering customers expert guidance on weed management and valuable marketing perspectives.
Our mission remains unchanged: to serve our customers with excellence. We take pride in the strong relationships we’ve built, the dedication of our employees, the quality of our equipment, and the professionalism of our stores. Town and Country stands as a testament to family values, steady growth, and a deep commitment to community service.
