About
For the past 18 years, Town and Country have been a cherished part of our family heritage, with two thriving locations in Columbia and Laurel, Mississippi. This family-operated beacon of community service, helmed by Dennis and Julie since August 2006, has flourished under their stewardship. With a keen vision for expansion, they transitioned from manual processes to an electronic point of sale system in January 2007, setting a new trajectory for growth.
Over the years, we’ve honed our business acumen, proactively adapting to industry shifts. Our forward-planning culminated in the construction of a state-of-the-art back warehouse, complete with a loading dock for efficient logistics, and the acquisition of adjacent land for future retail development. By 2010, our dedication to customer service led us to expand into a 5,000 square foot facility, broadening our product offerings.
In 2011, we diversified into liquid feed solutions, catering to the convenience of our cattle-rearing community. Our evolution continued as we embraced the digital age during the 2020 pandemic, upgrading to a sophisticated computer system that streamlined our online presence.
Dennis and Julie’s daughters, Tarah and Chelsea, have been integral to our journey. Their hands-on experience in 4H and contributions to Adamdale Farms, our family-run farm, have enriched our legacy of high-quality Simmental and Simangus cattle breeding.
Chelsea’s involvement in daily operations and her role as an RPS with Purina has been invaluable, enhancing customer relations and business strategy. Meanwhile, Tarah leverages her extensive knowledge in biological sciences and agriculture to offer our clients expert advice on weed management and marketing insights.
Our unwavering commitment remains: to serve our customers with excellence. We take pride in the relationships we’ve built, the dedication of our employees, the quality of our equipment, and the professionalism of our presence. Town and Country stand as a testament to the power of family, growth, and community service.
